This approach introduces a horizontal management, crossing the barriers between different functional units and unifying their focus to the main goals of the organization. Thus, the functions are no longer the only way to identify activities and tasks, because, to focus the organization by processes, it will be necessary to articulate the functions transversely in the organization attending to internal and external customers.
